Why Ask Why?

So often, when facing a challenging situation or event we ask the question "Why?" Today, I invite you to contemplate the power of a simple shift...and instead, ask, "How is this situation here to serve me?" "What opportunity am I being given in this here and now moment?"

From the human perspective, this has been a remarkably challenging year. As a family, we were faced with some of the most "undesired" circumstances one could imagine. As we recently wrapped up this interesting chapter I found it fascinating how many people inadvertently encouraged us to stay in a victim mindset by forecasting long term damage and pain into our lives.

"You need," "you better," "you must" statements were followed by a littany of culturally agreed upon perspectives of what happens, or can happen to people who are "victims" of similar events.

Although never discounting the advice, and understanding it all came from a place of concern, I was also inclined to come back to some of the core teachings of The Power of Our Way Medicine Wheel, namely, "One can not fully heal absent of love," "Suffering is a choice," and "Forgiveness opens pathways to healing."

I also reached into the depths of my own past experiences of turning away from the wisdom of the world before I could find myself living in the blessed reality that had been deemed impossible by all of "the experts."

See, when I healed from Lupus in 1997, I was given a gift of faith that no one, and nothing could ever take from me. I was also given the gift of a radical, life altering change in perspective regarding what is possible when we truly partner with the Divine.

The Power of Prayer When Partnered With Faith

Before I go any further, let me emphasize that I am human, not super human. I have moments of forgetting that I take full advantage of. Every day I am faced with countless opportunities to shift my perspective and be accountable to a perspective that is beyond my own, especially when it comes to what I bring to focus in prayer.

What has been most fascinating is the increased awareness that prayers born of patterned dynamics of suffering are coming from the self that is suffering in fear...not the Self that is stabilized in faith - a SELF that is willing to witness the playing out of its own conditioning into a consciousness of fear - and therefore be empowered to alter the trajectory of thought that would have lead to more suffering!

The moment we get stuck in a pattern of identifying something as a problem, a tragedy, or some impossible situation, we temporarily relinquish access to the INTELLIGENCE that observes everything from a perception of neutrality and opportunity.

Where we are praying FROM, influences what we are praying for...

Understandably, our state of being and consciousness  (pain vs. comfort, fear, vs. faith, anger, vs. love, judgment vs. compassion) and the accompanying/influencing thoughts and beliefs influences the focus of both our prayers and our projections.

We can pray to manifest external changes (which may be focused on getting rid of something and getting something else) or we can pray for the internal changes that can support sustained change.

And, all significant change, for it to be sustained, requires a letting go....a letting go of the ideas and identities that have contributed to the perceived conditions that you wish to change.

Most significantly, what happens in the letting go is an allowing of the awareness that it is YOU than needs to be altered...so you can simply, and profoundly surrender to the essence of which it has merely been hidden!

The journey begins with an awareness that the focus of your desires--what you are asking for--is what may need to change first! Entertain the impact of moving from a focus on form to a focus on substance and open to the very real possibility that you, in the past, may not have asked for what will prove to be most potent!

Asking for what is most potent puts into motion a series of experiences and happenings designed to change YOU...not just the circumstance! On the surface, it may even appear that you are getting the exact opposite of what you were asking for. Yet, we know that often, we don't fully realize - or even notice - the deep internal changes until faced with another opportunity to have a different experience of a similar situation.

It is in these opportunities that we find ourselves reflecting..."Wow, in the past, I would have thought, felt, acted (fill in the blank) but this time, instead, I observed an entirely different reality!"

Let's Begin...From the Beginning...

Since the beginning of our time and running through the threads of humanity’s evolving sense of both God and consciousness, we have sought to understand, live from, and teach on the subject of faith.  For many, attempts to define faith through identification with a particular religion – or, more accurately the accepted interpretations of that religion – have left more questions than answers, especially when variance in both interpretation and demonstration so often exists.

I’ve come to understand that faith and religion are not the same.  Although we may derive and define ideas of about faith, just as we develop perceptions of right, wrong, good, bad, morality and immorality, I often wonder how many of us truly explore, inquire, and ask the questions that will assist us in walking the walk, not just talking the talk.  Frankly, we all know a lot of religious people who have more faith in their fears than they do in the core promises of the teachings and truths they profess to identify with.

You Do You Define and Develop Faith? In What Ways Do You Question it?

Conceptually, we might define our faiths according to the way a particular set of teachings or spiritual interpretations has been passed along to us. We might develop faith through experience. And, we might discount, or even reject past ideas of faith based on an interpretation of a challenging event or circumstance that challenged (and most likely revealed) where we placed our faith in the first place.

Interpretations of faith and how we apply it, live it, and are empowered or guided by it may not always bring us the comfort and security we are humanly conditioned to seek. An important question I often ask of myself and others is, “Are you seeking faith or are you seeking comfort?” Heck, it is easy to be in faith when things are working according to our master plan. It is not as easy when things are working out according to the “master’s” plan!

Maybe the only way to know faith is to be challenged by it. As human beings we are offered daily opportunities to truly examine the inconsistencies and polarities that exist within our own minds, especially when our faith is challenged. We question our faith, go against it, and at times we may even ask ourselves, “When, if ever, is faith irresponsible?”

For example, on the subject of attraction/manifestation, depending on the focus, we may find ourselves assessing an outcome as being in direct contradiction to what we had been asking for.  When a prayer isn’t answered in “the form” of our request, we may entertain doubt and disappointment, not understanding that the “substance” of our prayer is, in fact, being tended to, just in ways that look different than what we had in mind.

Sometimes, when things are not happening in the timing of our preference, we become impatient and without knowing it, we take our “order” back in ways that can actually create a counter intention or request. Just examine the often vast differences between what you want and what you expect and you’ll begin to identify a whole slew of internal inconsistencies that influence both perception and reality.

Usually, the underlying tension is a result of the idea that the specific outcome focused upon in prayer or other practice must manifest in both “our way and our timing,” less we don’t - or can’t - believe.  Faith, if seen as a teacher, teaches us that there is an intelligence that knows the essence – the substance beyond the identified form – that is spiritually ideal, even if it is humanly undesired, or unimagined.  

The ideas that organize our sense of faith and the quality of relationship we have with God may not be Sourced from the highest perspective, but rather from conditioned ideas that we have come to align with from, interestingly enough, fear.

WHAT IS FAITH?

As a spiritual teacher and minister I am asked this question - and ask this question - a lot. A few days ago, it came in the form of prose...here it is...

Let Go, Let God

Faith in its highest form does not seek proof or justification. It relinquishes timing and form, outcome, and expectation to the sweetness of a surrendered expectancy in the highest good emerging.

It proceeds into its next right and perfect action absent of any conditions or demanded outcomes. Faith surrenders form for substance. It loves through trial and tribulation. It allows space to be present and observing to what “is,” as holy, sacred and fully awakened to the reality that perfection is always in the process of unfolding.

Faith is an unwelcoming place for fear, or doubt, or worry, yet it presents temptations to the ego’s resistance to its own unfettering.

Faith does not judge, for it is both compassionate and patient as it watches the world in wonder infused with a level of patience that only comes through trusting in the outcomes of surrendering.

Faith tunes its eyes to beauty and paints all of what it sees, thinks, and creates with tonalities of love and a presence that is unmistakably Divine in both consciousness and perspective.

In the letting go, we make room for the allowing…and in our surrendering, we make room for the Divine to dance its dance and inspire us to sing the songs of our souls into glorious perfection.

You, as the channel, the bridge, and the vessel through which the Divine can presence itself within and beyond your once humanly defined edges, are already primed, prepared and ready.

Let go and let God…

You were designed to be resilient, and see life in all of its brilliance. Detailed in Divine perfection, magical and mysterious in every reflection…you ARE the essence of Godly projection!

Magnificently unique and yet so much the same, we wish to remind you that God knows your name… your face, and the sound of your voice. For you, my dear, began as a choice!

One of the highest, in will and intent, loved from the beginning, and all the way to the end. Through every misstep, mistake or regret, the only thing Spirit wishes is for you to let…

…and allow the Divine to stretch out your heart, re-infusing you with the memory that you were never apart. That you are one with the all; the everything, and the whole, but the thoughts you’ve been thinking may be taking their toll.

They’ve gotten you distracted and diverted from truth. Fed you lies and illusions with evidence and proof! You’ve been conditioned to fear, walk in worry and doubt; question the connection and forget you know how…

To heal, to love and live in your faith. To laugh and to dream and never to wait…for the perfect moment, or the “you” you wish to be, to know your purpose and always to see…

…the beauty, the grace, and all the ways you have been served. Through low times and high ones, always knowing you deserve…to give yourself your very best, to thyself be you true, love all your sticky layers ‘cause they make you that you that’s you!

But here is the thing, the opportunity, the key…Let go of your attachments, or you’ll never quite see…that God is in the details, orchestrating plans, designing intersections, unimagined yet by man!

You have to let go, release and surrender! Love everyone and everything with thoughts that are tender! Invite the Divine to be a presence deep within, trust in the unfolding with no regret for where you’ve been.

And to know that when your angry, afraid or resenting, you ego is attached to its diversionary temptings! Impatience and doubt is a sign you are not trusting…in an intelligence beyond all your human fussings!

Elevate your mind, and be free in your expression…and for goodness sake, let go of your need to make an impression! Clean yourself out, let the light in, be the hollow bone and expand the Divine that is within.

Every layer, every cell and out beyond your edges; parts unexplored, all the way down to your essence. You are here for a reason and yes, part of it’s for growth, but you’ve got to be the water and stop trying to be the boat!

Flow in the direction of the dreams that are downstream, remembering that what you see isn’t always as it seems! You are sourced by an intelligence of a mystery vast and unknown, but you must be awake to truly be shown…

The Source will supply you, from the invisible well, of all that is good and help break you out of your shell…the walls and protections, your resistance to truth, inviting you to dance and give birth to the YOU…

…of your encoding, your recipe, your heavenly mastered plan. Something so extraordinary it can’t be designed by man…alone at least, without inspiration from above, your timing might be triggered by one simple, powerful nudge…

Of “out of this world” thoughts guided by a holy imagination, of Divinity in action, causing a deep and sacred (and much needed) recalibration. So let go and let God and you’ll be given instructions. Pray, ask, and listen and be obedient to the directions!

You may not be given the big picture or vision, but if you follow the breadcrumbs, you’ll soon be able to envision…the life that’s been designed by the all loving hand, a destiny destined, of you in service to man…

…and woman and child, all who’ve walked before, for the children unborn and future paths leading to more…Order and grace, happenings Divine; synchronicities and connections, all in due time!

Are you ready to surrender, let go and allow? ‘Cause your good wishes to be given, not later, but NOW! Breathe and receive, seek communion with your Source. Let love make your choices and find your true voice!

Let go and let God, stop denying your mission! Let beauty emerge into all that you vision. Forgive and move on and unfetter from it all. The mission is important and the order may seem tall.

But, you’ve got what it takes and have been given everything you’ll require! Rise up from the ashes and emerge from the fire. This is God’s will, a promise, a given. Expand your potential and today simply start living!

You’ll be blessed and directed, rewarded and seen, known for showing up even when others do not see. You are already approved of and loved beyond measure. You are already known as a gift, and of course, a great treasure!

But you have to let go, give in and surrender. To the wisdom within and always live in great wonder! There is no answer you seek that is unknown or forever hidden. You just need to let go and travel within…and above, in perspective. See through the eyes of God and be eternally reflective.

I know this is long, but there is just one more thing! You must dance a new dance and sing the song you came to sing! The tone and the melody reserved just for you; will sing love into most and trigger a few…

To unravel in the ways we are all ultimately guided, to live boldly in love and come out of hiding! So take a deep breath, take the leap towards the unknown. Then fully let go and miracles will be shown!

I have a lot to share with you.  Although the story is quite intriguing, at times shocking, and in the end, quite miraculous in its unfolding, you don’t need the actual story, the background, or even one single gory detail to receive the essence that is most important to share…

And the essence has got to be shared with you…

It’s got all the elements of any good, engaging story filled with dramatic twists and bizarre crescendos that takes you to the edge of your seat and what you think you are capable of. It is a story of  good vs. evil, heroes and “victims” (she says knowing there is no such thing), building tensions, crisis’, mystery, and an ending that is less of an ending and more of introduction to the sequel that you can hardly wait to come out.

Long story short; sometimes you gotta travel through hell to get to heaven. You can walk right into the storm, face and dance with your fears, choose love over every other alternative, show up in the awareness that you are not alone, and simply accept that the entire universe is lining up to support your highest good, if you can surrender, let go, ask and receive.

As I settled back into “normal” this week after a week of delayed flights, lost luggage, unexpected dramas, life threatening, yet completely Divine “interventions,” I came to a conclusion that there is nothing normal about my life. In fact, it is quite extraordinary.  The miracles that came out of the mire are breathtaking and still unfolding in exquisite detail and I am excited to share some very powerful understandings that I know can and will make a difference in your life immediately.

The Power of Imagining and Activating Potential

Yesterday, after a “rough” start to my day that began with what I thought was really devastating news (from the human perspective), I found myself looking up to the sky, through eyes clouded by tears, saying, “Really God, really?” 

Given I had a whopping 5 minutes to mentally reorganize and start broadcasting our daily morning radio show, I closed my eyes and prayed. I prayed to align with right and perfect thought and asked that anything contrary to love and compassion be removed from every level and layer of my being. 

I put the morning “in a box,” compartmentalized, and asked to be guided by an intelligence beyond my own. Immediately, I felt a shift. Everything I had been imagining and projecting from fear dissolved and in one instant, I felt a complete calm coming over me. 

I soon found myself in awe of something magical that was happening deep within me and all around me.  As my husband and I sat on our bed talking, a powerful awareness came to us.   

We were consciously witnessing a miracle well beyond our own creation, yet clearly, we had elevated our consciousness to the level needed for miracles and spontaneous healings to manifest in our physical reality. 

This morning, as I listened to Imagine: Activating Potential, the healing meditation I had spoken and recorded the night before we received several miracles and Divine Manifestations, I knew that it was more powerful than I realized. I knew it contributed to the immediate manifestations we witnessed and received yesterday.

In my observation, healing is rarely addressed at all five levels…rather, most people and practitioners (traditional and non-traditional) focus on only one or two and then wonder why results don’t manifest or at the very least, are not sustained. 

Physical – symptoms, disease, habits, energy that has formed itself into matter. 

Emotional – patterns of grief, pain, anger, regret, depression, guilt, shame, unworthiness, hopelessness, sometimes connected to past experiences of trauma, conditioning, and often cause chemical, neural, and organic imbalances. 

Mental – conscious and subconscious programming and beliefs, perceptions, obsessive thought patterns, cognitive dysfunction. 

Energetic – held memories, blocks, excesses, depletions, imprints, and leakages within the various energy bodies, auras, meridians, and chakras that can, overtime, form themselves into a physical manifestation. Energy Medicine can identify potential disease or malfunction energetically, years before it manifests itself in physical form. You can also hold memories and beliefs in your muscles and organs… 

Spiritual – your soul’s evolutionary journey sets you on a life path that provides you with the opportunities to grow and serve as your soul intended, prior to incarnation. Agreements, requests, destiny, purpose, fate, and karma may all come into play…

9 Steps to Integrated Healing

Without any exception, I have found many themes in those who have struggled to move beyond past patterns of pain or limitation. Whether healing one’s body or past, or bringing a focus to healing destructive belief and energy dynamics around money, prosperity and self worth, many modalities simply fail to extend into the subconscious and soul level.

Slapping on a coat of paint on a wall covered with mildew may pretty up the externals, but at some point, the mildew will seep back through and ruin all the work you've done. Without realizing this, we often adopt a similar approach when focusing on our own transformation. We work only on the surface, not addressing the parts of our subconscious mind (and soul) that are actually influencing our physical realities.

Something Important is Happening

You can’t deny that something important is happening…within you and all around you.

I feel certain of this. And I know it isn’t always easy…or desired…but it is happening.

The question is what is that you are going to take into the next phase of your unfolding life story? 

We create from our consciousness and energy, much of which is held stagnant by the imprints from our pasts (this lifetime and beyond). As we shift into possibility and potential we open to a vision of a new reality and often begin to make new commitments and decisions to transcend past experiences and patterns that are no longer acceptable or desired .

Then, you may find youself tested, revealing deeper opportunities to go "underneath the surface" and clear and resolve EVERYTHING that is CONTRARY to the emergence of a higher potential. Simply put, all your stuff comes up to the surface so you can identify, heal and transcend.

This is one of the phenomenon experienced during the chemicalization process…when the parts of us that are "trying to transform and evolve" because they are not a supportive match for where we are heading and what we are evolving (spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically), seek to survive and fight hard to do so.

Most people don’t realize that every soul aligned commitment we make, whether conscious or subconscious, initiates a process of releasing and reintegration that can be unsettling and easily mismanaged.

And, over the years, I have found that most people don’t have the proper support and tools to heal and grow in the ways that are most necessary (and most resisted).

The gifts I share are not found in text books or training programs, not entirely. Ancient ways have been passed down to me and much of the medicine I carry is not shared nor described to the general public…

This has become more challenging for me, especially since I’ve always been such an open book…yet, I have said yes to this path and all that comes with it…

New Age Spirituality has introduced you to many ideas and practices, but rarely asks for an actual commitment that will challenge you to walk one progressively revealing path. Oneness is talked about but rarely demonstrated or fully understood.

Physicists and scientists are now proving what the indigenous have always known to be true and accessible.

On one hand, we might say, from the Divine Perspective, that we live in the illusion that we need to be healed, and that in TRUTH, all is perfect and in service to our soul path and evolution.

On the other hand, from the human perspective, we have walked through our lives collecting a lot of evidence that reinforces the pain in our bodies, minds and hearts, making it more challenging to truly know our power to change. 

And...more and more of us are waking up to the desire to do something about it.

Whether you are aware of it or not, as a human being, you want to understand and embody your worth, your beauty, your body, and most of all, your true spiritual power, one where you return to the essence of who you are, why you are here and what you are here to be do, experience, transcend and influence in contribution to evolution, growth and healing.

Most importantly, you want to transform in a way that you fully integrate and embody the deep internal changes needed for lasting change. Creator, I send a voice filled with compassion for those struggling, in pain or in fear. Creator we are a good people with hearts and minds that sometimes forget we are always loved and protected in the most important of ways.  Creator, have compassion for us and the genuine needs and requests for assistance that are being asked for. We ask that we know that our peace is who we are, not just a temporary state of consciousness when all is going well. Help us be strong and faith-filled when facing uncertainty and challenges. Help us be gentle with ourselves and patient as life unfolds in the vast mystery. Help us forgive ourselves and others and walk with a clean heart.

Creator, help us know the value of our worth, even when the physical evidence appears to be lacking. Help us love better, hear more and speak against truth less. Help us Creator to see blessings in all that is unfolding and please open this community to receive abundance and prosperity in all forms, trusting that we will be good stewards to all that blesses us.  Please help us care for Maka Ina with tender thoughts and footprints that are a little gentler and lighter. Help us know that every tear is a prayer and that each is heard and answered. We ask to grow in the trust that all is unfolding in absolute perfection in accordance to a plan we may not be able to see or understand. Creator we are often small in our minds and we ask to expand into the wisdom deep within for the highest good of all.

Independence Day in the U.S., has the potential to be about so much more than celebrating freedom as a Nation. Today we can declare a holy day that honors, as sacred, the capacity we have to LIBERATE, change, and expand into our own evolutionary possibilities – individually and collectively. After all, liberation is a choice, not a condition!

To me, today is also an opportunity to shine light on the subtle ways we imprison ourselves through thoughts, perceptions and behaviors and unconsciously claim DEFEAT (Doubt, Excuses, Fear, Expectation, Anger and Avoidance and Time) and instead, DECLARE (Decide, Exclaim, Choose, Love, Accountability, Release and Responsibility and Expectancy) liberation as a way of living and being in the world.  

Sometimes it all comes down to discerning where a period (or comma) exists (from God’s perspective) and where, in our own habits of thought (and subconscious conclusions), we’ve discounted our innate power to facilitate radical change; change that is often deemed improbable by the common culture and the limited thinking that often defines it.

Sometimes, acceptance of “what is and was” is in order so we can move on and live the life that is waiting for us. Other times, we need to get a little (or a lot) intolerant of our own limited thinking and get off our butts and be and do something VERY different than what we’ve grown accustomed to being and doing.  After all, as I’ve shared in the past, “we cannot change what we’ve come to tolerate…”

Today, I ask you; “Are you ready to DECLARE freedom and live the REAL life that has already been prepared and chosen for you?”  

After all, you are here for a reason, one that is hugely significant – much more than you could possibly know. Every experience thus far holds keys to what that reason is.  Today, I simply invite you to reflect upon the changes that are ASKING to happen in your own mind – changes that will unfold into amazing new happenings in your life, body, work, and relationships.

This time of year I participate in several global indigenous prayer ceremonies, each time experiencing, firsthand, the grace of prayer, spiritual community, miracles, transcendence and healing.

Saturday night, after experiencing something that could only be described as completely “supernatural,” I received the Divine nudge to share a message that could very well hold a key to your own expansion and liberation opportunities.

Imagine…

Imagine standing on the earth, your bare feet touching the ground, and extending roots from the souls of your feet down into the center of the earth, where they join the energetic roots of all living beings on the planet.

You are happy to exist in this time and place. You are feeling incredibly grounded, solid and strong. You are happy with your life and find and appreciate pleasure each and every day. You are acting on your Highest, most Divinely connected will and are proud of the choices you have made. Your heart is open and you feel incredibly nourished through your relationships and the activities that add to the quality of your life. You speak your truth without blame or judgment and see yourself as divinely creative.

As you breathe in a grounded, nurturing energy up from the soles of your feet, you feel the energy of creation moving up through your body, traveling through your chakras, bringing balance and aliveness to all parts of you; energetically, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. As you simply take in a few expanded breaths and slowly exhale all energies contributing to constriction, you feel your heart filling with gratitude, love and compassion. As you sink even deeper into your breath, feel the healing energy of faith permeating every cell of your body and awakening the core of your being to an expanded sense of possibility and purpose.

Imagine that you have transcended past limitations, perceived and real, and you now find yourself in spaciousness of thought where you truly know your place and purpose in the world. In this elevated place, you have unfettered from the fears and insecurities that once diverted you from operating from a consciousness grounded in faith, compassion, love, trust and awareness. You have discovered your Truth and you’ve Forgiven that which was yours to forgive. You have Healed harmoniously and gracefully and experienced a great sense of deep inner Peace as you stepped fully into and claimed your inherent Power.

Imagine that you are now physically opening doorways found at the center of your forehead and at the top of your head, at the crown. Open to your inner vision by tapping three times on your brow chakra/third eye, reciting “I see my life as God desires it to be. I see great beauty in all that I have received. I see my dreams made reality. I see… (fill in and repeat) and I give thanks. I see… (fill in and repeat) and I give thanks. I see… (fill in and repeat) and I give thanks. 

Now, give yourself permission to envision your life as God envisioned it, prior to your incarnation and the Divine forgetting that followed. Give yourself permission to see you as God sees you, absent of the human influenced tendencies towards fear and judgment. Imagine being faced with no disapproval or doubt and being able to tap into the energy and consciousness of Creation Itself. Entertain the vision of you feeling and knowing the true Source of EVERYTHING and being confident in your ability to truly tap into this Higher Intelligence, whether for healing or inspiration, clarity or direction, energy, motivation, or will.

Now, imagine being able to transport yourself to a time and place exactly one year from now. As you observe yourself in this future reality, you can see that you are experiencing the life and rewards that you intended to co-create and manifest over the last year. You live from your Truth, have Forgiven all, including yourself, you have Healed harmoniously and gracefully, feel grateful and abundant, and experience a great sense of deep inner Peace, as you stand centered in your true spiritual Power; all that is aligned and supportive of your Original Intention…

Imaginings that were once only wishes and dreams have manifested in your physical reality. Dreams long forgotten are alive with positive anticipation. Changes once seen as impossible are now sources of healthy pride because you know, absent of any doubt, that you’ve show up for yourself and others in a good way. You’ve stuck with it, transcended past excuses, and have clearly transformed at the level of self-identity. Past triggers to pain, anger and worry no longer impact you in the same way. Something deep within you has become centered and your perceptions and thoughts are guided by a mind elevated to a spaciousness that is Divine in its perspective.

You are not the same person you were a year ago, yet, deep down, you are more of the person you were created to be and this brings you great happiness. What was once seen as impossible isn’t…and what was once seen as inevitably unfortunate in your own worrisome predictions, rarely crosses your mind. When it does creep in, during times of vulnerability, you feel stabilized by a foundation of faith that is stronger than it has ever been. Overall, your expectation is positive and steadied by a strong connection to your soul path and a deeper trust in Divine unfolding. You are more open and less attached to life looking a certain way in order for you to feel good.

Because what you used to concern yourself with rarely enters into your mind, you find yourself to be more positive, energized, and self accountable. Your confidence and self-trust has grown by leaps and bounds, yet you feel incredibly humble and are in awe with how your life is unfolding. You’ve created beauty and love and have taken major leaps forward with projects and endeavors that had once seemed daunting. Each day is met with a sense of success, achievement and alignment with what is most important, as opposed to what is most pressing or urgent. What used to feel hard is now easy and you’ve implemented new rituals and activities that bring much joy and fulfillment to all areas of your life, work and relationships.

Your life has more meaning and each day you feel connected to your purpose and the Source of your Divinity. You are consistently using and sharing your gifts and your curiosities have guided you into explorations that have yielded many miracles and responses to prayers you may not have been aware you had prayed simply by acknowledging the desire and wonder that whispered you into motion. 

Although there are days when you find yourself in slump, you know how to embrace and explore the underlying reasons and move through challenges and diversions with grace and ease. You have become conscious that you are seamlessly unaffected by past patterns that had once held you back or created hesitancy or stagnation. You are no longer imprisoned by your thinking, or the cultural mythologies that once held inspiration at bay. Decisions are no longer struggling to be made because you’ve released ideas of unreadiness or unworthiness.  Truth that you once understood and agreed with in concept is now embodied, and you are fueled and fed in ways that resonate at a deep soul level.

What once appeared to be un-healable or un-resolvable has been healed and resolved. You truly know you are a recipient of much grace and assistance from a force and Source of consciousness that wishes you great happiness and fulfillment. As you look back at the accomplishments and growth of the last year you feel fortunate for the new agreements and commitments that led to this moment. You are proud of your yeses and your no’s and can see how just a few decisions reshaped your entire reality.  

Feeling unified, whole and complete within yourself, you know your worth and value yourself in ways never imagined. Your relationships reflect your growth and the level of intimacy and communication that now defines them continues to be enhanced with each interaction. You feel guided by an intelligence and intuition you place trust in and rarely hesitate to act on the Divine nudges that wish to inspire you into action.

This is your life and you love it and appreciate it, thus gratitude flavors and colors all of the details great and small. You feel aligned and focused, prosperous and generous, inspired and creative. You’ve mastered the art of influencing your own mind at the conscious and unconscious levels and are keenly aware of subtle energy changes within you and in your environments and thus, are enabled to shift trajectory in any moment.  This awareness is supported by your practice and you experience yourself as alchemical force in your own body, mind, and spirit and certainly in the world around you.

You’ve become a model for healing, transformation and transcendence. Even the people in your life that had once negated your nudging, and the choices you were making, have become your greatest cheerleaders and allies. You emanate something real, authentic, pure and desirable; a luminosity that is felt and seen by others. You have become an energy alchemist and a conscious creator and you are living the life of an awakened healer. Life is good.

Reflection Exercise: Take a few minutes to meditate on what you have just read and record your insights, experiences, and thoughts…

1. Is it ok to be specific in my requests?
2. How do I come up with the right and perfect words when asked to pray with – or for – another?
3. What are all the different forms of prayer and when do I engage in them?
4. How can I become a hollow bone – an open and clear channel for the Divine Intelligence to move through me, speak through me and work through me?
5. What can I clear and cultivate within my own consciousness to be a powerful, prayerful presence, even when not formally praying?
6. How can I clear my own blocks, in faith or attitude, and truly surrender and open to a power beyond my own, yet one that exists with me?
7. If new, or if feeling like a novice when it comes to prayer, how can I hold this space for others, in confidence and faith?

1. Our thoughts, perceptions, emotions and attitudes get purified during prayer – the depth of one’s prayerful state and time engaged do make a difference and both of these aspects grow easier – more effortless.

2. Our pathways to divine communication open to receive greater access to guidance, direction, and inspiration that we can move into action and demonstration. What this really means is that we increase the likelihood that we are acting in accordance with Divine will, as opposed to the often fear and insecurity ridden conditioning of the human psyche.

3. Prayer can reposition us to be more receptive to God – to the energy, will, assistance, love, and direct communication that comes in the forms of inspiration, intuition, instinct and instruction. When we partner meditation (listening) with prayer (which often feels like talking), we can have some really powerful conversations with our Source. 

4. Prayer can actually reveal the internal inconsistencies and belief structures that are underlying just about every conflict we are experiencing. It can also be the vehicle thru which they can be re-patterned.

5. Prayer can also help us to grow in faith because over time we become more expectant of good and miracles and give ourselves the opportunity to release habits of negative forecasting, doubt and disappointing projections…and begin praying believing in a higher good that is at work and a divine plan that is unfolding in absolute perfection.

6. Prayer (and curiosity) is the antidote for fear and a powerful vehicle for releasing anger and getting to a deeper and higher truth that is more empowering.

7. Prayer opens up pathways in our brain, mind, bodies, and energy centers for Source energy to do what it is supposed to do – give us energy, healing, insight, inspiration, guidance and a level of communication that is unconditional and unlimited.
