“We cannot heal absent of love…”
Anita Pathik Law, Returning to Your Original Intention
Beloved,
As human beings we travel a mysterious, windy road filled with twists and turns, peaks and valleys. At this very moment of your life – at this moment in the history and unfolding of your existence, a new story is wishing to be written, one that shifts the trajectory of your life in a new direction; an alternate destiny that is vastly different than the one you are currently heading towards, and beyond what you might currently be able to imagine.
Beginning with what wishes to change in the outpicturing of your life, it is important to understand that:
What we dislike in our lives and in our experience of the world around us, is merely what remains divided and shadowed within.
And…
Wherever there is light, shadows will be found. In fact, light gives life to the shadows…and the shadows reveal the pathways to our greatest, most significant healing opportunities.
The shadows within ourselves, whether showing up as fear, judgment, criticism, separation, resentment, anger, guilt, or lack (to name a few) are not to be avoided, feared or even admonished. Rather, they are to be acknowledged as potent avenues to healing and transcendence.
No matter the genesis of each shadow creation, each has been fed by the various ways we have come to interact with them. Through both entertainment and denial we alternate between being conscious and unconscious of the power they wield to heal, or to damage.
When conscious of our shadows, if unmet with compassion, the tendency will be to judge these characteristics, tendencies, or experiences as bad, less than, or shameful.
When unconscious of the shadows operating underneath the surface, at the foundation of our reality, we have little power to change. In particular, we lose power and influence in altering the vast influence they have on our beliefs, perceptions, experiences and behaviors.
The division can be so subtle, it often goes unrecognized. At times, we do become aware of our own “fragmentation,” but don’t know “how” to heal the patterns of our own pain, self denial, or self sabotage.
Up until now, you have been conditioned through your upbringing and past experiences and have come to mistake many non-serving beliefs as fact.
Moving beyond the patterns that create pain requires you to dance with your shadows as your teachers; friends that offer great wisdom and insight to your potential, healing and transcendence.
In this dance, we begin to recognize that we can be so unconscious of our own shadows (let’s use fear as an example), that much of the conflict or discomfort we experience in our lives is a direct result of interacting and playing off the shadows within others (insecurity, or need for approval, for example).
Two wounds bumping into each other inevitably increases pain. Embracing our shadows, as opposed to judging, stuffing, denying, or even hating them (in all the ways they reveal themselves) is the way to foster unification within the SELF, in relationship with Source, and in relationship with others.
YOU ARE THE “WHO” AND THE “WHAT” YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING AND SEARCHING FOR
Today, the challenge—and the opportunity—are to release yourself from the fate believed and feared from the illusionary projections of your shadows and to Return to the place of your Original Intention, a state of:
- Integrated Wholeness
- Embodied Awareness
- Oneness
