Without any exception, I have found many themes in those who have struggled to move beyond past patterns of pain or limitation. Whether healing one’s body or past, or bringing a focus to healing destructive belief and energy dynamics around money, prosperity and self worth, many modalities simply fail to extend into the subconscious and soul level.

Slapping on a coat of paint on a wall covered with mildew may pretty up the externals, but at some point, the mildew will seep back through and ruin all the work you've done. Without realizing this, we often adopt a similar approach when focusing on our own transformation. We work only on the surface, not addressing the parts of our subconscious mind (and soul) that are actually influencing our physical realities.

Last week, upon my return from 10 days in the Utah desert, and my participation in a powerful, ancient prayer ceremony, we surrendered to 24 hours of Divine unplugging…and were without electricity and phones for a few more days than anticipated!

This interesting turn of events caused a delay to the official first session of Healing the Chalice…

During the ceremony I learned and experienced many things about myself, others and the Divine Mystery that Sources us all…and the vision and instruction I received over one year ago manifested in ways beyond my imagination.

I am different. And, I anticipate changes that may not be comfortable, or easy to fully surrender to.

You can’t deny that something important is happening…within you and all around you.

I feel certain of this. And I know it isn’t always easy…or desired…but it is happening.

The question is what is that you are going to take into the next phase of your unfolding life story?

We create from our consciousness and energy, much of which is held stagnant by the imprints from our pasts (this lifetime and beyond).

As I fasted, prayed and danced, I received many gifts. Never hungry, in spite of dancing some days for 15+ hours (in well over 100 degree heat), I experienced a transcendence of human consciousness and “needs” in ways most can’t imagine.

I prayed with people who were dying and were healed and women who were lost in the pains and burdens of their pasts who found sweet release in the healings we offered over the four days.

NASA satellites even captured images that revealed an energy vortex…of light and motion, in the center of the 60 of us who traveled from all over the globe to honor the visions that most consider crazy at best.

And then, jolted back into “real life,” I crashed head on into my own sense of not enoughness. Here I had just completed (in a strong, good way) what is considered to be one of the most powerful, demanding indigenous ceremonies on the planet, and I felt like a complete and utter failure in the days following.

This is one of the phenomenon experienced during the chemicalization process…when the parts of us that are dying and not a match for where we are heading (spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically), seek to survive.

Fortunately, I and others with whom I share this medicine path with, were able to navigate reentry in a ceremonial way…

Most people don’t realize that every soul aligned commitment we make, whether conscious or subconscious, initiates a process of releasing and reintegration that can be unsettling and easily mismanaged.

And, over the years, I have found that most people don’t have the proper support and tools to heal and grow in the ways that are most necessary (and most resisted).

On the other hand, from the human perspective, we have walked through our lives collecting a lot of evidence that reinforces the pain in our bodies, minds and hearts.  And...more and more women are waking up to the desire to do something about it.

You want to understand and embody your worth, your beauty, your body, and most of all, your true spiritual power, one where the Sacred Feminine is fully integrated with your Divine Masculine.

You want to feel whole, loved, balanced, confident, centered, purposeful, energized, inspired, connected, joyful and fortunate.

You wish to experience yourself as:

• powerful, yet fear your power
• sensual, yet fear your sexuality
• connected, yet fear rejection or abandonment
• confident, yet fear being perceived as arrogant, or "bitchy"
• strong, yet fear a loss of your feminine nature

From Impossible to Fully Experienced

Last week, I experienced (and did) something that was once deemed "impossible." Why? Because the doctor's told me I would be dead by my 42nd year on the planet.

That day, sometime in the fall of 1996, was the last day of my life as I had come to know it. In a moment, with a simple thought, "I can choose to heal and live a life beyond other's perceptions," the trajectory of my life was drastically altered. My sense is we alter trajectories more often than we will ever be aware, turning right instead of left, saying "no" instead of "yes," or perceiving the Divinely orchestrated as humanly impossible.

As I stepped deeper into my own destiny last week, I must admit, I was afraid. I was afraid of what would change, what I would truly be saying yes to in my life, and what will need to go in my own thinking, life and work.  Some things in life are not a choice...not in the way we might think. Rather, they are Divine unfoldings of agreements made before we ever took our first breath...

over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who
conquers that fear."- Nelson Mandela

Imagine it’s the last day of your life. Your life flashes before you.

What will you see? Will the vision you see be one of a well-lived
vibrant life filled with passion, love, prosperity, inspiration,
excitement, peace……

Or one filled with "If only I……?"

Regrets leave a bitter taste.

Surrendering to YES

As a society we have a low tolerance for discomfort and impatience when things move too slow according to our expectations and time lines. We want it and we want it now. We get upset and frustrated when things don’t go our way and then we brood and become disheartened - like kids. We give up, become resigned to things remaining the same, compare our losses to the successes of others, wonder what’s wrong with us, judge our deficiencies, beat ourselves up and end up feeling like a puddle on the floor.

So what does saying YES really mean to your life?

I believe it means having the faith and courage to step into the next and highest version of who you are meant to be as spiritual beings and Creators in a physical body. And to keep expanding into your highest potential which may beyond your imagination to conceive. It means going the distance without giving up and quitting; releasing the false illusions about who you think you are to allow the real magnificent you to more fully emerge.

Fulfilling our dreams and desires does not end with a single yes to any vision, action plan, or goal. Thinking that just because we came to a decision to do or have something that our success is assured is naive. We must say yes every second, every minute, and every hour of every day as we make choices that move us towards what we truly desire. And, we must know when choosing to say no is the right answer because saying yes will take us in the opposite direction of what we desire.

Are you aware of what your soul is calling you to become?

Have you been listening the whispers of your spirit and following your inner nudges?
What YES have you been resisting that is persisting?

Are the choices you have been making moving you towards or away from your desires?

Questions that arise:

1. What will be I be asked to do that I may not want to do?

Life (God, Soul, The Divine) will not give you step two until you take step one. Spiritual practices such as meditation, morning papers, journaling, and walks in natures create connections for Life to speak to us through intuition, instincts, feelings… It is true that the guidance we sense or hear might seem scary, confusing, …even nuts. Our ego and mind  screams, “No way. It’s not safe. It’s crazy…” Our gut and instincts say, “Trust that all will be well. Go for it.” What is guiding your decisions? The fears and illusions of your mind? Or, the knowing wisdom from your soul looking beyond the limitations of your mind and beckoning you to the wonders of what’s next?

Attempting to remain stagnant is impossible because evolution and change is a constant. You are either moving forward or you are moving backward. Look at your life to see where you are.

2. How far do I need to s-t-r-e-t-c-h?

You want some guarantees or a preview of what is to come before decided to take the plunge? Sorry,. Life doesn’t work that way. That’s why it’s called taking a leap of faith. You must stretch as far as is needed to receive what you desire. There may be periods of extreme challenge that can cause you to waver in doubt and fear.

How well you know yourself, your spiritual practices, ongoing evolution, attitude shifting tools, and circle of support are critical factors to staying strong no matter what is happening.

3. What if my YES upsets others?

It might. And in weighing all the elements of saying yes, you must also trust that the people in your life will benefit in the long run even if the short term brings some discomfort. You do not know what the people in your life have come to experience to become who they are meant to be.

Marianne Williamson’s famous quote from “A Return To Love” speaks to the very heart of each of us who fear or feel undeserving of owning our greatness

“…Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of the Universe. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others…”

Good Medicine for the Oceans and Gulf Clean-Up

For many folks around the world, there is both celebration and great concern regarding the clean-up in the Gulf.

Father Sky and Mother Earth, we call to the hearts and souls of humanity to have compassion for your healing waters. We see every droplet of water as the Source of life for all creatures on the planet and know it is our responsibility to care for and honor the oceans and the species of living creatures and plants that are being impacted by this monumental disaster.

As a human race, we know the power we possess to come together in compassion, caring and shared responsibility. We know the brilliance of the scientific mind partnered with the loving soul can bring about great and positive change and we call forth, in this very moment, a shift in consciousness that enables us to co-create and implement strategies that provide long-term solutions to ensure clean waters and fuel alternatives that will shift the trajectory of both the planet and the entire human race.

We ask for the solutions to be made known and available and, that by setting aside political agendas and the tendency to seek blame, we are able to come together as a human race and begin the process of repairing the damage to the oceans, rivers and streams and all of their inhabitants.

We ask for innovative solutions, support, hope, and prosperity to be extended to the fisherman and all people's impacted by BP's lack of planning and response. We also ask for BP executives and the government to come together as one mind and one spirit with one common agenda...to stop the damage, enhance honest communication, fairly care for and compensate those impacted, and clean the waters for the sake of all humanity and the living beings dependent on healthy, vibrant waters.

We pray for greed, complacency, ignorance, hatred and deceit to be transcended so that together, regardless of agenda, faith, or industry, we funnel our energy towards to the good of all. As we are reminded by the indigenous of the world, water is the first medicine.

We pray to and for the waters and oceans of the world so that they may experience the positive, loving impact of a global transformation in human consciousness that evolves beyond seeing the earth, her waters, and her creatures and plants as resources merely for the taking, and rather as treasures that we must protect and take care of, just as we would a small, innocent child.

We see a coming together of the greatest minds of the world in service to the healing of our waters and in doing so, we offer hope to the generations that come…
