In 1997, my life as I knew it was coming to and end. My first marriage was in the toilet, I had been delivered devastating news from my doctors, and I couldn't find a place to live - one I could afford as a single mother with two kids in diapers and an $800 monthly day care bill.
The story of my life was filled with drama (and I didn't even have all the details yet!) and pain. I was isolated, in pain and unhappy. Then, I had a moment of awareness that was life-changing.
I could re-write my story.
I could move beyond the place of being victim (waiting to be rescued) to other's decisions and perceptions and become the hero of my own life story.
I could take responsibility for my own shift and therefore completely alter the trajectory of the life I was, at the point, giving permission to.
I could learn how to heal the "dis-ease" that was slowly killing me.
I could create an alternate reality and re-design my life.
I decided to leave my marriage, heal, and take back the manuscript I had essentially turned over to my doctors and husband.
Within months, I healed (completely!!!!) from Lupus, re-kindled my relationship with my Source, and essentially aligned with a destiny that I had subordinated for a false sense of security, love and acceptance.
15 months later, I met Brent, began writing again, and today, my girls have a perspective on love, empowerment, self-healing, service and deep spiritual connection that I know, without a doubt, is setting them up for a much different life.
I am often heard saying, I am living the best love story on the planet.
I am completely healed, aligned with my destiny, and happier beyond what I ever imagined possible.

Aligning Desire, Decision and Demonstration
Last year, when I first posted a short article about moving from desire to decision to demonstration, I shared a quick and powerful alignment strategy that, through my own experimentation and observation, truly unleashes previously blocked flow. Since that time, over and over again, I have seen the power of this 3 step process in my own life as well as with the 60 or so folks who graduated from Aligning With Destiny. As they quickly learned, most people remained focused on their desires, often unaware that their focus of desire is usually fettered with fear energy and negative expectation. In other words, they want something because they believe it will remove a pain or a problem and therefore they are focused on what they think will "cure" whatever issue they are experiencing. And, more often than not, their subconscious mind (and sometimes even their conscious mind) doesn't really believe they will manifest their desire. In fact, they often EXPECT that it won't happen, or that it will take a long time, or something else unwanted will occur. Their negative expectation gathers more energy the longer they sit in the "in-between" place between desire and manifestation. |
