Honoring a Legacy, a Catalyst for Evolution
Today's issue includes a poem I wrote last week about Martin Luther King
 and a legacy that lead to this world-changing moment in time, 40+ years later. . .Called an Invitation to Remember, it will be read later today at a special service dedicated to the life and legacy of Martin Luther King.
You too, were born to a legacy that may yet to have fully revealed itself in your life. Ultimately, even if you sense the calling of your soul, a destiny of contribution, meaning and joy, you must say "yes!" Are you ready?

Are You Honoring the Legacy You Were Born To? More than ever, I am aware of how grateful I am to men like Martin Luther
 King for not hiding out behind their fears and justifications (and what the world was telling them was possible) and instead, saying "YES!!!" to being of service to a higher calling. Just imagine what would not exist in the world today if King, or Gandhi, for example, did not do what they came here to do! Of course since Gandhi gave my father and family the name "Pathik," and was instrumental in the movement that liberated India from British control, I am connected deeply to what they both "caused" in my own life. You don't have to be American or Indian to appreciate how the entire world is different as a result of these two powerful men leaving their footprints on the collective soul of humanity.What Foot Print Will You Be Leaving?
 I am of the belief that upon our arrival in these glorious physical bodies, we come fully committed to a chosen a mission and purpose. Encoded with everything you will need to fulfill it; your talents, gifts, inclinations and (this is important) your life experiences offer keys to aligning with your destiny and serving the legacies you were born to create.As we grow up, however, many of us experience Spiritual Amnesia as a direct result of our conditioning. As a human race, we are offered a multitude of reasons to NOT Align With Our Destinies, most, if not all, based in fear, illusion and lack. And then, we wonder why we are not happy, more prosperous, or question why we are struggling, or why, even when the surface of things look pretty good, we lack the deep fulfillment and meaning we all so crave.

Aligning Desire, Decision and Demonstration
Last year, when I first posted a short article about moving from desire to decision to demonstration, I shared a quick and powerful alignment strategy that, through my own experimentation and observation, truly unleashes previously blocked flow. Since that time, over and over again, I have seen the power of this 3 step process in my own life as well as with the 60 or so folks who graduated from Aligning With Destiny. As they quickly learned, most people remained focused on their desires, often unaware that their focus of desire is usually fettered with fear energy and negative expectation. In other words, they want something because they believe it will remove a pain or a problem and therefore they are focused on what they think will "cure" whatever issue they are experiencing. And, more often than not, their subconscious mind (and sometimes even their conscious mind) doesn't really believe they will manifest their desire. In fact, they often EXPECT that it won't happen, or that it will take a long time, or something else unwanted will occur. Their negative expectation gathers more energy the longer they sit in the "in-between" place between desire and manifestation. |
