Happy 2009!
Although I do want to remind
you that we begin the two session treasure mapping class (with
a unique energetic twist) tonight, January 1, 2009, and that
you can sign up (for only 19.95!) at www.powerofmyway.com, today, I am asking
you for a big favor in honor of our
community members in the Middle East.
As
independent artists and musicians, my husband and songwriting
partner, Brent and I don't have the benefit of a record label
or publicist to share our music and because of the positive
and somewhat spiritual focus, we have relied on pure faith to
share our messages of hope and inspiration. Most of you found
us through one of our songs at www.thepowerofmywaymovie.com and right now,
there is an incredible opportunity to spread a deeper
and more urgent message of peace and
equality.
Inspire Peace Around the
Globe
We have thousands of community
members in the Middle East. A youth group in Palestine.
Families in Israel. Communities throughout Lebanon, Iran, Iraq
and Afghanistan. Over the last 3+ years, the letters we
receive, whether from a Muslim, Christian, Jew, Hindu, or
Buddhist, are from diverse groups of people all seeking the
same thing. Peace. Safety, Compassion. Love. An end to the
cycle of religiously justified war, killing and
oppression.
Brent and I have written two songs
that we are asking you help spread across the globe ten times
over. Just as we received life-changing letters after
releasing the Power of My Way Movie, we know that music, a
universal language, can touch people in ways that the news or
political mandates won't.
So, today, on the first day of a new
dawn, we ask that you view and pass along two of these
universally beneficial messages. . .and be grateful that most
of us slept last night absent of any worry that our homes
would be bombed or that our children would be killed. Most of
us went to bed with a full stomach and heat to keep us warm.
We awoke to food in the fridge and a day off to rest and
relax.

The New Year is always a time of reflection and
imagination. We take note of past accomplishments and explore
future desires. We attend burning bowl ceremonies, write out
our goals and commitments for the upcoming year, and many of
us create a treasure map of vision board from old magazine
clippings and poster board.

Missed It - A Letter to Your Soul
This is a letter to your soul for the New Year here on
planet earth, so if you don't mind, could you read it aloud so
it can hear it in your own voice?
The world is changing rapidly and we, as the ushers of
a new and evolving consciousness, are being prepared in some
mighty and mysterious ways! A time of reflection, gratitude
and re-creation, we face an incredible opportunity to remember
our very reasons for existence and come back into alignment
with higher truth.
As we enter into the last few days of 2008, we must
remain steady in what we know to be true and sacred. Evolution
is always met with resistance and the birthing process
isn't always comfortable. In spite of stark projections, I
believe that we--and the world--are changing in the very ways
we have prayed for. We are finding our voices, embracing our
dreams, and cleaning up that which is not a match for the
vibration we each wish to project into the creation of our
lives.
