Commitments to Live By, Love By and Learn By

Happiness is a choice, love is an action and all you truly have is this moment – here are some commitments that when made, aligned with and chosen, will open you to love, miracles and joy-filled manifestations!

• Make Love Like You Mean It.
• Live Each Day in Gratitude – Look for all that is here for your enjoyment and appreciation.
• Look at everyone like a brother or sister, child, or parent and treat them accordingly!
• Heal your stuff and get over it so you can begin living the life that is anxiously awaiting your arrival!
• Accept your greatness and be your own best friend – talk nicely and lovingly to yourself.
• Find beauty in tragedy and lessons in adversity. After all, everything is a gift for your growth and evolution.
• Say “thank you” more often and “I’m sorry” when you need to.
• Find your passion and give yourself to it – open to a joy that is much easier to access than you realize.
• Uncover and release any resentments you may be carrying – they only weigh you down to a past that is asking to be left behind.
• Love even the unlikable – find something you appreciate and bring all of your focus and gratitude into your experience.
• Allow people to honor their own resonance and do so for yourself.
• Be curious and say “yes!” to exploration.
• Notice how amazing your children and parents are and tell them.
• Same thing with your spouse or partner!
• Call a friend and tell them how much you appreciate them.
• The next time you feel an urge to criticize someone or something, keep your mouth shut and don’t open it until you have something nice to say.

The Vibration of Energy - The Power of the Subconscious Mind

In 1991 I began to teach and guide meditation when I worked with inmates. Later, I shared the gift with correctional and law enforcement staff and was even called the "Om Lady."

In 1997, when I decided to heal, I used meditation, chakra clearing and the positive suggestions used while in hypnosis to master my mind and body and release it from pain and disease.

Breakdown or Breakthrough - You Be the Judge!

A few months ago, I received a desperate email from a member who thought she was experiencing a nervous breakdown. She was freaking out, weeping, feeling hopeless and confused.

I felt the strain and fear in her email and picked up the phone to give her a call. After her shock wore off (that I called her) I simply asked her a few questions, re-framed a few things, asked some more questions, and within about 30 minutes she had metaphysically made that 180 degree shift and was seeing everything from a different view.

A few weeks later I received an email filled with stories of miracles, manifestations, and she was brimming with positive energy and a new level of anticipation of more good to come.

Breakdown or Breakthrough?

You be the judge. We hear the cliches time and time again, yes?

"It's always darkest before the dawn."

"Things gotta get worse before they get better."

"What you resist, persists."

"Time heals all wounds."

"One door closes, another door opens."

"Things will look better in the morning."

You get the point. What seems like a breakdown, or a verge of a breakdown, is usually just a breakthrough waiting to happen.

We give permission to both occurrences.

We choose HOW we experience the world around us and our choices impact everyone we touch. (disclaimer - some people need professional help and may not be able to make this choice without intervention)

If we can make that shift in how we are seeing things then we invite in the BREAKTHROUGH. And. . .it is the invitation that truly makes the difference in how we navigate our own evolutionary journey.

A perception of disaster can very quickly be transformed into into a perception of a gift. In the moment it may not be easy. It may take some effort. It may mean choosing behaviors beyond your urgings or past inclinations. . .

Sometimes we need someone to "hold the space" for us, help us see things from a different angle, or guide us into a "higher place of consciousness" and awareness of the divine opportunity that is being gifted.

We can choose to play the lead victim in our life or we can choose to be the lead hero or heroine. You are writing the story of your life. . .and the genre is up to you! Are you writing a drama or a love story? A horror filled with suspense and chaos or an inspirational, "feel good," belly-busting comedy that leaves people smiling and filled with promise?

Once we choose which one we want to be, it is our responsibility to recognize when we are at that critical choice point; a crossroads where we look down the path to a BREAKDOWN and we look at the path to a BREAKTHROUGH and we decide which way we want to travel.

At any time we can jump to the other path - plenty of bridges being offered up along the way--some obvious--some not so obvious.

Faith, Alignment and Demonstration

I just got off the phone as we wrapped up our sixth Power of Our Way Community Call-in Group. Today was all about sharing our Visions - and looking at how we can take the leap in demonstration of our greatest desires.

One of the members opened to take action last week and began her yoga teacher training - literally making the decision to take the leap on the day of VISION.

And...the Universe responded in kind. It always does...we just may not always be present.

This one was OBVIOUS!

So, here she takes the leap, signs up for a $2500 training that was beginning later that day and then wham! The Universe placed a big sloppy kiss on her beautiful face.

Just a few hours later, her boss called her into her office and handed her a $3,000 bonus. Talk about DIVINE FLOW! Not only is her bill being handled, she received enough to cover all of the books she needs to purchase!

Here's the thing - what if the Universe needs some validation that we are serious about our desires and dreams...Think about it.

How often do we wait for the Universe to give us a sign (or the money, the time, the EXACT way) - a sign BEYOND the urges we are receiving, the opportunities that are being placed before us and the guidance we are getting to take action?

Why isn't the nudge enough?

When we are aligned, it all seems to line up - this is flow.

Yet, fear, excuses, and even self punishing "ick" pushes away the Divine Inspiration and we are hesitant to take that first step.

So, today, what is just one bold move you can take to move in the direction of your dreams?

How can you demonstrate your faith?

Where do you see a greater potential in your life and how might you take even just a step - trusting the rest will be taken care of?
