Join The Movement into Realization - Today!

Good Morning My Brothers and Sisters,

This piece of writing did not originate in my human mind. Rather, it seemed to be delivered by some cosmic force that was reaching out to you.

Although I wanted to remind you that today is the last day to register for Awakening to Purpose at www.awakeningtopurpose.com, as I sat outside to greet the sun this morning, I was directed to write you this letter (and include a few paragraphs from a recent article) and I ask that you receive every word as a Divine hug from a larger consciousness that connects us all.

You see, The Universe's greatest desire is for you to be happy and experience yourself as a steward to a larger and greater purpose that will only be revealed when you come back into the fold of the original intention of your conception and birth into the earthly realm.

What the heck does this mean when broken down into simple language?

Your greatest joys will reveal themselves when you align with and live out your purpose for being born.

And, you must first be willing to transcend stories from the past that will limit you from realizing the TRUTH of who you are; who you were born (willingly and excitedly) to be!

Transcendence speaks to the inherent ability we each have to go beyond a previously limiting viewpoint and thus expand beyond and surpass all previous experiences that can only be maintained in the status quo.

We begin with asking a few simple, yet profoundly transformational questions;

• "What conditions in my life am I ready to transcend?"
• "What am I ready to let go of in both my thinking and behaviors?"
• "What is asking to emerge and evolve in my life?"
• "What am I being asked to resurrect within a self that is clouded by conditioning?"

In a world filled with pain and conflict, we face an incredible opportunity to better serve the original intention of our collective incarnations; to love and serve ourselves and others so that we may evolve and transcend that which has limited us from living in unity and harmony.

As beings made in the likeness and image of God/Universe/Great Mystery as a CREATOR, we are reminded that we have been gifted with an incredible gift to consciously create heaven on earth - the only limits being that which we dismiss as impossible or unrealistic.

You may seek to change how you are showing up in the world. You may feel ready to give birth to an inspiration or idea that has been incubating in the womb of your creative mind and is energized by the desire of your soul.

You may feel a sense of deep longing to feel peace in your heart, a peace only clouded by perceptions and beliefs that are currently preventing you from seeing your life as nothing short of miraculous and abundant.

You may seek to resurrect a part of you that you have hidden, ignored, or dismissed out of fear or a slew of practical reasons.

And, you may seek to heal and transform some very physical manifestations (health, finances, relationships, career) whose genesis exists in a mind and spirit that is ready to align with a gentler way.

As much as we may wish to see a plethora of desired life changes from a strategic, linear view, in truth, we are being gifted an incredible opportunity to expand spiritually first and seek Divine assistance in revealing within us a purpose that we chose long before we took our first breath!

Reconnecting with the Source of all creation, healing, and evolvement as a pathway to transcend past limitation or pain, or to reawaken a more innocent, inspired, and imaginative aspect of your soul, is how we rediscover wisdom within.

It is the knowledge that transcends your human mind. It is the encoding that houses keys to your unique purpose as consciousness in physical form.

It is my experience that we feel closest to our highest selves and our Source when we are actively expressing our unique purpose. Yet, many want an experience that is "out of this world" as proof of a connection that just simply "is."

We want evidence and witnesses (to validate our experiences). We want angels and harps and mysteriously appearing symbols of a love and attention that are always, always present when we get present.

I've been there and have some funny stories of things that occurred when I demanded (or begged) for physical, tangible proof of a presence of the Divine.

Here's the thing though. And, please, please, hear and feel this to the core of your magnificent being.

You are HOW Spirit manifests in physical reality. You are HOW the Universe presences itSELF in the lives of others.

And, manifested in a human body that can speak, see, touch, feel, smell, hear (and sooooo much more), you are here as a vehicle; a conduit for sharing miracles in the lives of others and a healer in the lives of all (including you!).

You are the Great Mystery in both physical and non-physical form and right now - today - the world is calling out for you to know your WHY and come into partnership with a soul who came here to be and do some profound expressing and learning and transcend the illusionary limitations created though human born fear and insecurity.

And, we need you. We need you to step into yourSELF and acknowledge the brilliance of the light you have carried forth to be shared with others.

Saying Goodbyes, Remembrances - a Plea to All

Dear Friends and Global Community Members,

 

Today marks the beginning of my very last week in Maryland before joining my family after eight weeks of gypsy-like living. As I engage in my official "lasts" in Maryland, such as tonight's last speaking engagement and this weekend's last local retreat (info on both below and you can still sign up today for Awakening to Your Soul's Evolutionary Journey at www.powerofmyway.com/soulevolution.html), and what feels like many "last" face-to-face sessions with local clients, I am guided to share a tiny bit of what I am seeing as some of the most important information we can be embracing at this time in our evolutions.

What I am Seeing…

 

The Universe is applying powerful nudges in the forms of both negative and positive pressure and transitions and transformations are occurring on multiple levels.

We seem to be accelerating on all levels – not all comfortable or desired--and it is as if time is moving more quickly, and we are spiritually challenged to evolve and heal at faster rates, instantly at times. 

Our beliefs are being challenged and we are in the process of reinventing ourselves to come into better alignment with our core essence; a truth beyond our previous exploration and understanding. 

In this process, we are being asked to transform and resolve, to release and expand, to heal, integrate, and empower. We are feeling afraid and ready, curious and resistant, unsettled and peaceful. And, it’s all just fabulous (or fantabulous!)

For cultural creatives, spiritual teachers, healers, artists, guides and intuitives, there is a heightened sense of a new emergence on the horizon – a new level of realization that is asking to be welcomed and embraced for yourself and those that you serve.

And, we can’t ignore the calling anymore…

 

This is why this weekend, during an intimate gathering of  healers, we will be moving major energy, purifying at all levels, and doing a lot of journey work (I like to call it Soul Traveling) and calling in the energies of nature, our ancestors, spirit, and, as we call it in Lakota tradition, the Great Mystery.

 

I see this group of people as Divinely called to come forth and possibly, for the first time ever, experience the embodiment of what I am calling integrated wholeness. This level of embodiment moves us beyond the conscious effort of "trying" to be more of or less of anything.

 

Rather, it calls forth that which has existed prior to conception and birth; a sacred and inherent nature that has only lost itself in the muck of our cultural conditioning.

 

Yes, we'll be doing a traditional sweat lodge. Yes, we'll be laying and working with The Power of Our Way Medicine Wheel. Yes, we'll do deep trancework and soul journeying to take us beyond the human mind and a soul and heart that are greatly misunderstood and still believes they need protecting.

 

But, more importantly, we'll be indoctrinated in a new way of experiencing ourselves and the world, serving from Soul, and healing from a place within and beyond what most humans are aware of.

 

This is my challenge to you - and my urging. At this moment in time when we look around at chaos, political and social upheaval, instantaneous financial collapses, drastic spikes in fuel costs, job losses, and homelessness as a result of the recent hurricanes that devasted the southern coasts of the United States, I must ask you...

 

Are you ready?

 

Are you ready, willing and committed to stop waiting another tomorrow to fully embrace the TRUTH that you have some really important contributions to make in your own life and in the lives of others?

 

I am saddened by the vast numbers of us who are still too afraid or insecure to emerge into that which the world is begging for. And, I am hopeful. Yet, over the last few weeks I have heard more excuses for why people are procrastinating, staying in terrible situations and relationships, and hiding who they truly know themselves to be.

 

I am aware that spouses are afraid to tell the truth to one another, children are worried of disapproval and rejection, and workers are fearful for their job security. I am aware that past experiences, fear and insecurities may flavor what you see is possible and that impossiblity thinking is rampant. I am also aware that almost everyone and everything around you is telling you to be afraid and hold onto everything you have.

 

It's all a game. An illusion. And, it is time to look around and ask ourselves what we have given ourselves permission to experience.

 

You have an incredible life ahead of you filled with Divinely ordained opportunities that you are currently being prepared for. Get to the essence of what is in front of you. Get to the core of your purpose...the bigger why for your incarnation. Heal. Resolve, Forgive. It's time.

 

And, for goodness sake, awaken to the deeper joy that is alive within you at all times. Be compassionate and ask for help even if you don't think you need it. Don't wait. Life is unpredictable. Take the leap into the arms of Spirit and fly into the freedom that awaits you.

Fictionalizing Relationhips - The Unconscious Blocking of Truth

This morning, as I sipped my morning coffee on the deck overlooking the woods, the neighbor next door joined me for an interesting dialogue about fictitious relationships.

 

You know, the relationships where you fictionalize how good (OR HOW BAD) they are; talking yourself into believing it is “all good,” only on some level (usually unconscious) knowing you are lying to yourself and denying honesty for the sake of not looking at the truth.

We justify a range of behaviors (like a lack of intimacy, having nothing in common, all the way to financial, mental, verbal, or physical abuse and possessiveness that leads to isolation) and in turn give permission to being in a relationship that is less than satisfying and often toxic.

 

Or, how about the ones where we “bad guy” the other person and blame them for all of our unhappiness or dis-ease, our pain, limitation, or lack of freedom, or, or, or.

We can fictionalize all sorts of relationships, weaving a story of generalizations, half-truths, or cultural co-dependencies. The relationships we have with our job, boss, our upbringing, culture, religion of origin, and even all the way out to “other” genders, cultures, and even our pasts, our bodies, and our future.

When it comes right down to it, everything, and I mean everything, is entangled (or freed) in the dynamic of relationships.

Think about it…you are in relationship with your heart, mind, soul and body. You have relationships with certain foods. You even have relationships with different kinds of weather, geographical regions, your thoughts, and the many selves that seem to reside within the larger consciousness that makes you the you that has been created through these various relationships.

You came into this body of yours already knowing the souls you would come into contact with and each of them agreed to support you in  your evolutionary journey.

 

From the life-changing interactions that last a minute to the life-long relationships with family members, each committed to help you grow and come back to a remembering place - a place of Divine Recollection of your purpose and the reason you came to the planet and what you came to learn and contribute.

Give thought to your various relationships—physical and non-physical, human, or thought form—and ask yourself, "Where am I fictionalizing and not seeing or recognizing truth?"

 

Where do you see the greatest honesty in how you perceive and tell the story of your relationship? This morning, my friend bravely acknowledged that  she had completely “made-up” the relationship with her previous lover as a way to stay in a relationship that was one-sided, all out of the fundamental fear we all seem to have of being alone and unloved. Now, her self-doubt and shame, not to mention the embarrassment she feels for settling and giving permission to something less than what she both wanted and deserved, has permeated her sense of self trust and respect.

Trust, me, I’ve been there. But the more I became aware of my own evolutionary journey and soul purpose, the more I attracted relationships that truly are humbling because they are so far beyond what I ever could have imagined! This, interestingly enough, includes the relationship I have with my Source, my past, and most importantly, the friends, family, and clients that bless my life each and every day.

Just give thought to how much your own relationships have changed and where you see opportunities for improvement. Examine the level of truth telling you are engaged in and make adjustments that align with what you desire to have in your life!

Spirit is Speaking. . .

Coming Back to Original Intention as a Path to Deep Fulfillment . . .

Since truly saying "YES!" to my original intention, meaning the larger reason for my existence, it seems as I have been riding a wild wave of breathtaking synchronicities. After publicly sharing a prayer for radical clarity back in April, we have been gifted what may be the most life-changing opportunities to date. As with most of our deepest discoveries, realizations can come both slowly and in intense (and sometimes "unwelcomed") experiences that shift us on multiple levels. Just weeks after our move to Florida, the proverbial floodgates opened up (not to mention a hurricane!) and today, I have yet to find the words to describe the level of miracles, blessings, and divine intervention that we have experienced.

My faith, my deepened understandings, my experience of God in the physical, my sense of awe, the compassion I have both felt and witnessed, and the incredible (and speedy) results of truly aligning with soul purpose is something that is begging to be shared in circles, not across telephone lines. This alone is perplexing, yet I have found the transition oddly supported by opportunities that my human mind never would have thought to imagine, let alone dream of. As much as I have always been a powerful co-creator and manifestor, even last weekend, while I stated desires as the phone rang with messages of instant delivery (of two really big soul-aligned dreams), I had to reflect and ask, what has shifted within me to cause such instant receipts of my desires?

Last May, a group of Power of Our Way Community Members gathered for a weekend retreat (the next waterfront retreat is in just a few weeks at www.powerofmyway.com/soulevolution.html). All of us came to some powerful realizations. Over the course of the weekend, you could literally see souls coming to the surface of a human experience that was beckoning us to go deeper - and higher into what I have come to call our Original Intention. As a collective we traveled deeper into our faiths, our pains, our stories, and our healing, but most of all, deeper into our original intentions for incarnating on the planet. I even recall sharing some powerful prayers written during meditation or in sweat lodge, yet surrendered them to the unfolding and did very little (or so I thought) other than write and share them.

At the time, we had no clue that just a few weeks later we would be packing up our family and heading to a new state with Divine opportunities to serve in ways we have just recently "allowed ourselves" to even entertain. I certainly was not aware that as soon as I helped unload the truck I would head back to Maryland for another 7 weeks, only to discover several HIGHER REASONS I would find myself living as a gypsy and shedding all of my prior pictures of comfort and stability. For a homebody who rarely spends a day, let alone half a day without seeing and co-creating with her beloved, being open to the bigger "why's" of this odd arrangement has brought me to my knees on several occasions.

Holy, sacred, and amazing, are just a few words that don't even get close to describing my life over the last 7 weeks. I have felt the physical presence of God and guides and have watched myself and others show up in ways that were answers to prayers of embodiment that I figured would take years to cultivate, not days or moments.

Still in what seems like graduate school for the soul, I sense this is just a beginning place for a field of potential that I have yet to fully walk upon. Identities are transmuting, lightness is emerging, and synchronicities and irrefutable evidence of being on my destined path have seemed to increase tenfold. More importantly, beliefs have deepened themselves into knowings, faith has guided us beyond our conditioning, and my relationships with my spiritual community have both enlivened and humbled me.

Our past conditioning is one of the most powerful shapers of our lives and for many it keeps us dancing between pain and hope so eloquently that we can stop believing in a potential beyond our current realities. For many of us, we must identify and release some pretty clever (and often unconscious) beliefs that love to protect us from disappointment, failure, rejection, and even the pain of accessing a fundamental unworthiness that seems to be prevalent in even the highest functioning of the human race.

Just prior to the retreat last May, I received an email from Power of Our Way Community member, Geri Trogu. She included a prayer that lead to a reflection of my own hunger and longing. The reflection lead to writing an article (below) that I came across this morning. Because of all of the miracles that have resulted since this deeper reflection, I felt called to share the article with you again; one I would encourage you to read before encountering one more moment in your hurried day!

St. Theresa's Prayer:

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly

where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities

that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

It is there for each and every one of us.

Going Straight to Source - Traveling the Power of Our Way Medicine Wheel

I have received St. Theresa's prayer in email form a few times in my life, always when most needed. This morning, when a community member forwarded it to me, it sparked a different level of reflection, one that encouraged me to enter into the silence of my soul and ask some fairly deep questions. Opening the doorway to Source, I inquired, "Am I at peace?" "Am I trusting that I am exactly where am I am to be?" "Do I have complete faith in myself, my direction and in my higher power to support me?" As I gave breath to the inner dialogue, I became aware of the existence of contrast, in particular between my heart and soul and my head; between what I know and what I see, between what I desire and what I am currently experiencing. Faith and trust can be challenging to hold to when the world around you is looking less like you desire and more as you fear. Yet, the contrast is what truly reveals the immensity of blessings in our lives. After all, how can we know love if we have not experienced the void in our heart that accompanies heartbreak or longing? How can we understand the power of faith when we have not leaned into it, fully surrendering to that which is unseen and untouched? How can we know trust if we have not experienced doubt? How can we know miracles when we have not experienced the pain of the unwanted? Our greatest challenges reveal the gifts in our lives, most often exposed in the form of people with and through whom we have experienced the blessings of love. It can often be a struggle to remember how blessed you truly are. We have come to believe that absent of worldly worries we would be better able to appreciate the immense beauty that is accessible to us. Yet, we can always choose to see magnificence by merely opening our eyes and being present to the love that surrounds us, the beauty that graces our surroundings, and the lives we so often take for granted until we are faced with those happenings that cause us to open our eyes and take notice of how fortunate we truly are. Confusion, fear and doubt may have come to feel "normal" in the human realm. Yet, the most sacred teachings remind us that ultimately, no matter the path we take, we will be graced with becoming, once again, fully conscious of truth. We will be released into a freedom and love beyond comprehension, a peace that surpasses all understanding, and an awareness of the inherent divinity that empowers us to love, accept, forgive and heal as is promised when we see ourselves as part of the One Power; the shared spark of life that exists within. This is the uniting force that binds us, energizes us, nourishes us and embraces us when we are willing to flow in and out of the natural rhythms of our lives. Yet, we push, we pull, and we struggle to fight against the natural currents, all the while wondering why we feel breathless, uninspired, tired and out of control. In many ways the last year has been one of the most challenging and painful years of my life. I have questioned my path, my purpose and asked many questions of my Creator. Questions such as "When does faith become irresponsible?" and "Why me, why now?" have poked through the very fabric of my faith. As I have shared final moments with several family members and friends this year, sat in hospital waiting rooms, prayed with loved ones for a gentle passing and felt their presence in my heart even after they journeyed home, I have come to see that one thing and only one thing truly matters. It is not the status of our bank accounts, the size of our car or home, or the possessions we so want to own. Rather, it is the love we give and receive that truly defines the quality of our experience here on earth. The level of resistance we bring to the journey is usually a match to the level of pain we experience. The gifts we have been given are given to be shared. Our capacity for love is much stronger than we can usually imagine and forgiveness and gratitude always open us to an intensity of love that heals, expands and sustains us in all moments of our lives. I do not know what tomorrow may bring but today I choose to see the world with eyes tuned to beauty and I feel with a heart open to love. I seek the higher truth in all situations and serve my purpose as if I am serving the One mind, power and energy that is present within all things in creation. I relate to all peoples as members of my global family and seek to understand as opposed to judge. As is depicted on the wheel, I am reminded that compassion guides me to truth, empathy guides me to forgive, love opens me to heal, gratitude opens me to the promise of peace, and faith and unity guide me into my power; the innate, inborn, pre-infused power to share my passions and purpose in many physical expressions. And, this sharing is the one act that always guarantees a sense of service, connection and flow. These are the promises that are gifted to us when we embrace the wisdom of the wheel; a symbolic representation of all that is contained within the Universe. The wheel has gifted me with a path to incredible transformation on both the individual and global levels. It may not always seem as if we are supported by the world or the people around us, yet we are always embraced by the love of the Divine. Neale Donald Walsch, in his Conversations with God series, reminds us of the one and only question that truly matters; "What would love do?" Just imagine if we were more able to allow the answers that come in response to this question guide us at all times? Imagine the wounds uncreated, the resentments unfelt, the conflicts unexperienced. As we become that which we desire and are meant to become, we must also unbecome that which no longer serves us and the whole of humanity. It is in this unbecoming that we emerge into a higher truth of who we are, why we came and what our purpose is. I believe that it is through this unbecoming that we shed the collections of human influenced perceptions that have conditioned us to move further from the higher reality of who we are at our core. The process is not always comfortable but it certainly opens us to see and experience our potentiality. Like vessels for the delivery of wisdom, we give birth to a realization of the truth of who we are beyond the illusions, comparisons, and insecurities that we have collected like souvenirs or, worse yet, as badges of honor that we skillfully use to shield us from being intimate with ourselves, our creator and the people and experiences that arrive into our lives for a mighty and holy reason. It is in the untangling of our human conditioning that we are liberated into an experience of true freedom, divine expression and the joy and bliss that arrives into our awareness when we simply surrender to the flow that transcends the ebb. The in-between moments of our lives reveal the faith that is hidden behind fear, the wisdom that exists within, and the grace that is gifted to us when we arrive at a higher truth that has patiently awaited our perceiving. Truth, peace and wisdom is always accessible when we just simply get quiet, lay down the weaponry of our beliefs, release ourselves from the past and instead choose to open to the mysteries of the Universe and become truly present to what is in our presence. As we shed the collections of past hurts and woundings we truly open to the immense beauty that is always present in our lives. Yet, we resist, we fight, we struggle and we hold onto the stories that can only stay alive when we feed them through a retelling. And in the retelling we relive. We look to others for approval, love and validation and in doing so we often subordinate our resonance so that we may feel the illusion of safety and security, albeit temporarily. In spite of the humanly influenced differences we may perceive ourselves to have, in particular as it relates to our faiths and personal choices, we have story after story of our greatest teachers going against the grain of commonly held views. This may in fact be the greatest wisdom provided to us through their examples. Pushing past the limitations of our beliefs may truly be the one and only path to salvation, peace and the greater potential that is ours for the choosing. It is of course the starting place for all change, and the first dimension we face on the wheel. It is also where we find ourselves in greatest conflict and resistance. Yet, it is the beginning place and one that warrants our exploration; a rediscovery of our inknown wisdom and truth, a blissful resonance that resides deeply within and is only waiting to be remembered. And, it is in this remembering that we emerge into the purist sense of our wholeness. It is from this place that we choose to consciously connect to our source of wisdom, love and power. Go straight to Source and ask the questions that are begging to be asked. Access your intuitive voice, your vision, your heart, and the divine knowledge that exists within. Breathe, get quiet, close your eyes and give thanks for the entirety of your life. Feel, embrace and allow yourself to be vulnerable. You know who you are and who you are meant to become, to remember and to honor in your choices. And in the moment of this acceptance, you find the path that is yours to take, one that has been laid out before you every step of the way. This is the path to peace. It is the power of your way. And the more of us who choose to live the power of our way, the more others will be inspired to do the same. And together, one mind, one heart and one soul at a time, we can change the world.
